Year-over-year is computed by Macro Edge Research from BLS not-seasonally-adjusted index levels, the basis BLS headlines; monthly changes and annualised rates use the seasonally adjusted series. The October 2025 CPI was cancelled and November published on partial data: survey series are blank for October and several (rent, owners’ equivalent rent, food at home) also for November, while non-survey series (gasoline, vehicles) were retroactively sourced from commercial providers. Twelve-month component rates annualise the months actually measured. Forecasts and track record → · Disclaimer
